How are you moving these days? Are you moving free and uninhibited? How is your relationship with your body?
Did you know that your Brain has the capacity to change at any age? This is due to Brain plasticity also called Neuroplasticity. This term comes from the Greek word Plastos, which means, molded.
In simple terms “Brain molding”. Yes you can “mold” your brain at any age and hence, your communication with your body can change and this means you can make changes at any age.
If you find yourself having pain in your body with movement or without, or just discomfort, etc. there is the possibility to change this via retraining your brain. The best way to spark new neural pathways is via experience. Real learning involves experiencing, not just following instructions or directions. Movement originates from you communicating to your body, which brings signals to your brain to initiate the movements. If there is an inhibition due to pain or tension, or stuckness, etc. the body will adapt and this manifests into painful and stressful movements.
When we slow things down (the brain is about 7 – 10x faster than our bodies) we can start to recognize things and learn new ways to be, as well as overcome limitations. Becoming aware of what is, instead of overriding and therefore furthering our inhibition to move.

What you need: yoga mat. If you have any pain when laying down bring a pillow for under your knees also for your under your head.
NOTE: These classes can be taken again and again to keep moving into health and wellness. You can think of it as reeducating your brain and getting into communication with your body to move beyond pain and discomfort and start your vibrant life.
